Skylar

A beautiful late fall day at Memorial Park was the perfect setting to capture Skylar in action. I think I had as much fun as she did running around and enjoying the spectacular autumn afternoon.

Every season provides a unique backdrop for once-in-a-lifetime portraits of your little ones or your entire family. Sledding anyone???

Rachel & Michael

I love this couple- they were amazingly fun to work with, had awesome personalities, and had an incredibly unique wedding....complete with a bluegrass band from Boulder, CO. A fine mid western fall evening on the mighty Missouri! Thanks guys...

A Little Wind

A beautiful fall day, gale force winds, and two of the cutest kids you've ever seen...Super fun portrait shoot with Jack and Nora.

Sarah and Nick

It was the busiest September yet, which is why I haven't posted in a while. Sarah and Nick got married at All Saints Episcopal, stopped off at the Dell for a quick drink (or two!) and then headed off the the Durham Western Heritage Museum for an incredible reception.

I hadn't been to the museum for years...I highly recommend spending an afternoon there...or talking someone you know into having their reception there!

Josh & Sara

I was just digging through the archives and came across these awesome portraits of Josh and Sara we did at Red Rocks. The oh-so-cute baby in the post below came into this world shortly after these shots were taken!!!!

Baby Blue Eyes

I had a wedding in Colorado last weekend and arranged to stay with some of our closest friends; Josh and Sara. Their little girl, Maya, just turned one, so it was time for her 1 year portrait session. Sooooooooooooooooo cute...

Emily & Blake

Quite possibly the hottest, buggiest day of the year! We chose Two Rivers recreational area for Emily and Blake's engagement portrait session. I look forward to shooting your wedding this fall!

Kat & Jeff

Kat and Jeff got married at the Arrowhead Golf Club outside of Littleton, CO on June 10, 2007.

The wildflowers were blooming and the weather was perfecto.

Congratulations Kat and Jeff- you guys are truly an amazing couple!

Worms and Catfish

I've been trying to come up with some ideas for my "Summer" concept for my marketing materials. It's part of an ongoing series of images that define my interpretation of the 4 seasons.

For Summer, I wanted to create a classical, timeless image of two boys out on the river bank having a good time. I found an old Butter Nut coffee can in my parent's garage, filled it with dirt, and welcomed home a couple dozen night crawlers.

Here are a couple of images from the photo shoot. Let me know what you think.

Tucson, AZ

Last month I traveled to Tucson, AZ to document Audrey and Dominic's wedding. I gave myself a few extra days to get acquainted with the cultural and scenic offerings of the area.

The cacti images were taken in and around Saguaro National Park, a truly unique and magnificent place.

Their wedding was at the historic Arizona Inn. The light and color of this place was absolutely magical. I could have photographed these two for days...
